You also have to consider how little Lucasarts actually made themselves. If you look through their game history, nearly everything they've made since the early 00's has been licensed out to another company. The last game to be developed entirely in-house was Star Wars: Obi Wan on the original Xbox.

There were two games started (only one finished) at their Singapore branch, but that studio was closed several years ago and its second game and a sequel were licensed out to other developers.

They're already more of a license broker than a developer, which is a function that was already redundant within Lucasfilm, let alone how many times it's duplicated within Disney. There's really no indication that they had a good game studio - their last in-house product was awful and a decade ago.
